A relaxed, welcoming space for adults who love to create.
Welcome crafty friends! Whether you enjoy crochet, painting, paper crafts, sewing, journaling, or any handmade hobby, you’ll find community around the table here.
Some gatherings feature pre-planned projects with materials provided, while others are simple drop-in afternoons — bring your own craft, enjoy refreshments, and connect with others as you create side by side.
No pressure. No expertise required. Just creativity, conversation, and community.
Come as you are — and let’s make something together!

WHO IS THIS GROUP FOR?
Sunday Crafternoon is for adults (18+) looking for a cozy space to create and connect. While we love families, this gathering is intentionally an adult-focused time, and childcare is not available.
DO I NEED TO BE CRAFTY TO COME?
Not at all! Sunday Crafternoon is for everyone — whether you’ve been crafting for years or are just curious to try something new. There’s no pressure, no perfection, and no experience required. Come with the skillset you have and enjoy creating at your own pace.
CAN I BRING A FRIEND?
Absolutely! Sunday Crafternoon is a welcoming space, and we’d love for you to bring a friend. Whether they attend The Avenue Church or not, everyone is welcome around the table.
For some pre-planned craft projects, space and materials may be limited, and registration may be required. Be sure to check event details in advance so we can make sure there’s room for everyone.
IS THERE A COST?
Drop-in crafting is always free. For most planned projects, materials and supplies will also be provided at no cost. Occasionally, you may be asked to bring a basic tool (such as a good pair of scissors) or contribute a small fee to help cover specialty materials.
